Minha irmã perguntou-me se eu conhecia o ponto cascata em crochê. Por acaso conhecia, mas não sabia que era esse o nome. Andei a trabalhar um pouco com este ponto, mas esqueci de postar aqui os resultados. My sister asked me if I knew a crochet pattern named "cascata" (I don't know how it is in English). In fact I really know it, but I didn't know the name until now. I made some works with this pattern but I forgot to post them here before.

(Tantas velinhas!!!! Nem quero lembrar do meu próximo bolo... :P) Já deveria ter colocado essa foto aqui há muito tempo. Este foi o bolo de aniversário que fiz para o marido! Conhecem alguma receita de Brownie com nozes? Se sim, experimentem substituir o chocolate preto por chocolate branco e as nozes por nozes macadâmia e terão... Blondies! As irmãs dos Brownies (como diz um amigo meu n_n). Deixo aqui a receita das Blondies que utilizei. Se não conhecem nenhuma receita de brownies, podem utilizar a mesma receita das blondies para fazê-los, substituindo o chocolate branco por chocolate preto e as nozes macadâmia por nozes (ou castanhas do pará ou de caju). Blondies 125g de manteiga sem sal 250g de chocolate branco partido em bocados 4 ovos grandes 1 colher chá sal 350 Açúcar fino (não em pó, mas o menos granulado) 2 colheres chá essência baunilha 300g farinha sem fermento 250g nozes macadamia partidas irregularmente Pré-aquecer o forno a 170ºC. Derreter o chocolate com a manteiga em

Voltando depois de mais uma ausência, aproveito para mostrar o xale que minha mãe fez para mim. Já estou preparada para quando o inverno chegar! Digam lá se não é super bonito o meu xale novo! E super talentosa a minha mamãe! Foi ela quem me ensinou tricô. Obrigada, mãe, pelas aulas e pelo xale, que faz tanto sucesso que até o Chibi-chan quer usar (ele gosta mais de fazer uma tenda com ele, mas enfim...). :D Back again after another time off, I'd like to show off the shawl my mother made for me! I'm ready for winter. Isn't it super pretty? And how talented is my mom, huh? She taught me tricot. Thanks, mom, for teaching me and for this beautiful shawl, that is such a sucess around here that even Chibi-chan wants to wears it! (He likes to use it as a tent, but welll...) :D

Finalmente fiz um fat bag bottom para mim. Desta vez é de verdade, pessoal. Sim senhora! É uma fat bag em tamanho real! Haha ;) Esta eu terminei em Abril, mas não tinha fotografado até agora. :P Ainda não sei se vou colocar flores ou se vou deixar assim mesmo. I finally made a fat bag bottom for myself. This time is for real, folks! Yep! That's right! It's a real size bag! Haha ;) I finished this one in April, and just now I took a pic. :P I'm not sure yet if I'll put some flowers on it or just let it as it is!

Estive ausente, mas não desapareci. Não estou parada, apenas não tenho tido muito tempo para mostrar meus trabalhos por aqui. Deixo então dois dos mais recentes. ;) I was out for a while, but I didn't desappear. I'm still making craft works, just haven't much time to show them here. So, here two of the new ones. ;)

Hoje acordei com a ideia fixa de testar uns moldes para chapéu. Como resultado dessa minha "fúria" repentina, passei boa parte do dia a costurar e fiz quatro chapéus em miniatura. Gostaria de fazer em tamanho real também, mas ainda estou estudando a ciência dos chapéus. :P Mad hatter, Jackie! Today I woke up thinking about some patterns that I wanted to try. As a result of my suddenly "craving" I spent some hours of my day at the sewing machine and sewed four mini hats. I'd like to make them in real size someday, but I'm still learning the science of making hats. :P

Depois de algum tempo, voltei a fazer uma minifatbag. Tinha esquecido como era divertido. Esta foi uma encomenda que fiz para combinar com o vestidinho! n_n After a while, I did a mini fat bag again. I've forgotten how fun was. This one was a custom request to match the little crochet dress. n_n

...on the concrete stain on the street... ... on the lichen that grows on the wooden bridge... ... on the pieces of my broken cookie.. ... on the stain on a dirty floor... ... on my pizza, which refuses to be round... ... on the debris brought by the sea... Andei aventurando-me no mundo da costura... em miniatura. Gosto muito de costurar mas nem sempre tenho tempo para fazê-lo. Costurar nessa dimensão parecia-me loucura a princípio. Mas com alguma insistência e atenção acabamos por chegar lá. E sabe o que mais? É um desafio divertido, pelo menos para mim! ^_^ I had an adventure in the sewing world... a miniature adventure . I really like to sew, but usually I don't have enough time for this craft. At first it seemed an insane task to sew pieces so tiny. But with care and determination we can do it. And you know what? It's a really fun challenge! Well... it's fun for me! ^_^

Tenho andado sumida porque não tenho mesmo tido tempo nenhum para me dedicar ao artesanato. Mas de vez em quando a vida dá uma chance e lá consigo terminar um trabalho. Essa minha coelhinha comecei há meses atrás e só a terminei por pura teimosia. Enfim, por vezes persistência é necessária. Já sintia falta de postar coisas cá. ^_^ I've been away lately because I just don't have any time for artcraft. But sometimes a chance in life appears and I can finally finish a project. I started this little Bunny Ballet dancer months ago and finished a couple of days ago, only because I'm very stubborn! Well, sometimes that's what we need to be to accomplish something. I missed posting here! ^_^
